Steve C left this review about The Dover

The Dover is a small backstreet local’s boozer with front and rear bars. During a recent midweek visit the L-shaped front bar was very busy with no room to sit, but the rear bar was lights out and unused which I found a bit odd. The TV was showing muted football on BT Sport and there was some background music playing. Standard keg was available and the two handpumps looked like they’ve stood unused for many years. The service was polite but the locals were a bit suspicious of a non-local using their pub. I’ll not be returning.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Dover Inn

The Dover Inn is a smallish bach street corner pub that is situated between Gt clowes street and bury new road.
When i went in this pub it looked well kept from the outside and it was decent enough once inside, there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent enough room.
The pub used to be a Greenalls tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Greenalls bitter and this was a decent enough drink.
I quite liked this pub.
