A traditional main road pub just outside the town centre,and although not a lot going on in the real ale stakes,it is made up with the friendliness of the Landlord and locals alike, and also the pubs greatest regular the dog "Molly" who is tremendously friendly and so full of character.Called in on a Tuesday lunchtime and spent a pleasant half hour chatting with the regulars who presented me with an abundance of facts concerning the pubs of Oldham old and new.Quite liked it in here and will definitely call in again when i am in the area.

The Grouse Inn was a fairly basic Lees tied house on a main road away from the town centre.
i had a drink of Lees Bitter and this was fairly nice.
Pub visited 20 july 1989.
