This pub looks a hell of a lot better on the outside than the inside. It's an impressive brick built pub facing the even more impressive Cenotaph, raised a little above the main area of Yorkshire Street. You enter into one large featureless room with a small stage to the left, a small raised seating area to the right and a pool table in the rear area of the pub. Everything looks a bit tatty and unloved especially the tables which have names carved all over them. No cask ale just standard keg stuff and very little service. I had to wait until the barmaid had finished talking to her friend before she even came behind the bar. I ended up having a half of Carling!! Oldham has ruined most of it's town centre pub by opening then all out and going for the type of clientele that frequent this place. It's crap, don't go, ever.
