Quinno _ left this review about The Bowbridge Arms

Modern interior, white light and bright, fully set for dining with no space from the drinker aside from the (already full) servery. Three cask at the GBG’23 listed pub with Wye Valley HPA, a rugby themed one from a local brewery and St Austell Proper Job (NBSS 3). I retreated to the decked garden which has a nice view over the valley. Can see why it's GBG listed, but it isn't a drinker's pub really and once was enough to satisfy my curiosity.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Bowbridge Arms

The Bowbridge Arms is situated on the edge of town. Similar to its sister pub, the Clothiers Arms, I found it a littls disappointing. Ironically the barmaid that served us on Saturday evening at the Clothiers Arms was working Sunday lunchtime at the Bowbridge Arms. So, they share employees too.

We sat outside on the terrace adjacent to the pub. There is a small children's play area down some steps from here. The terrace itself looks out across the hills, with some splendid views.

St Austell Proper Job is the regular ale. The guest beer was Butcombe Original. I'm not a fan of either.

Helen Iwanczuk left this review about The Bowbridge Arms

The Bowbridge Arms has had a chequered history in the recent past, but they seem to have put the all that behind them now. The former British Oak has been restored into quite a convivial environment. One of the original features of the pub, has been retained – the etched windows depicting oak trees, a gentle reminder of the past. Indeed the interior of the pub, strikes a nice balance between modern comfort and character, for example the bare stone interior walls and wood burning stove.
They do good food at The Bowbridge Arms, which is well presented and reasonably priced. At the time of writing, there are four hand pumps, so real ale enthusiasts need not feel neglected.
Well worth a visit.

A newly opened pub, with an extensive range of real ales, a pub for the enthusiast. An open plan layout, with a single long oak topped bar within a traditional Cotswold stone building. As yet not doing food, but should be available in May. Easy To get to by bus (route 64 and others, from Stroud Town centre). A cracking pub.
