Having previously been a frequent visitor to the Royal Exchange in Hartpury a few years ago, I was extremely disappointed on my recent return to the area and visit to find the pub a completely different place. The food leaved a lot to be desired and I found the welcome uninviting. There are other pubs in the area with better food, and a much much better friendlier welcome and atmosphere. This may sound harsh, but I feel it is true.

You have to try this place. The food is very very good, plenty of it. Value for money too. Dogs are welcome - there is a very very large garden at the rear. Also just started a small caravan site for upto 5 touring vans and tents as well. Can't rate it too highly. Sunday roasts too and a big open log fire - brilliant
