David Hodkinson left this review about The Railway Inn

I like this pub, the only freehouse in Fairford, its situated on the Eastern outskirts of the town on the Lechlade Road. Its old stone exterior belies a rather more modern cafe bar style interior but non the worse for it, it serves four regularly changing ales such as Bustcombe Gold or Cotswold brewery ales, does food (not sampled) and is open all day. The old branch line from Oxford used to terminate a short distance away hence its name. It has a great sunny terrace out front for outdoor drinking.
