Looks like a pub and indeed, when passing and looking through the window, it had a long bar. I thought I would venture in but instantly recognised my mistake when pounced on by a Maitre d' and told to sit down.

Everyone else was dining - so I budged in between three lads finishing off their meal and the far wall.

Only time in my life I have been glad to order a half. Shagweaver from North Cotswold Brewery in reasonable condition.

As a drinker, I was in the way. No doubt, they thought I was a nutter for coming in.

The Lygon Arms is on the main street in this lovely cotswold town.
This pub looks larger on the outside than it is inside, there is one room in the pub which is to the right as you enter the bar faces and there is a stone floor, the seating is bench type and these were quite comfortable there was a TV to the left.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hook Norton Hookey bitter and this was a nice drink the other beers were Theakston Black Bull bitter and Sharpes Doom Bar.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer.
