Greene king pub that feels quite foodie. Does the job as part of a crawl but maybe not one for a sesh.

Komakino . left this review about The Norwood

Medium-sized GK eatery located on a roundabout at the top of Bath Road and a stone's throw from the nearby Five Alls and Sup & Chow. There's a bar area to the far left, although predictably all tables hold food menus. Five GK ales on the handpumps with a locAle in the form of Cotswold Lion Best in Show (£1.95) which was in OK enough nick. Muzak around the bar perhaps a little too loud for comfort but the small beer garden looks like it could be a nice suntrap on a lazy afternoon.

We didn't visit this one whilst in Town because it was a bit too far out on the outskirts and I wasn't going to waste more shoe leather just for a pint of GK IPA..
But for the record and for others who may follow..
The Norwood is a large open plan pub which as been recently refurbished by Green King to have a rustic theme and now more of a focus on food but with a separate area set aside for drinkers. Large garden at rear and front patio.
