Great sign outside - pub set in this lovely village. Fab features inside lots of brass and pictures, check out the murals at the far end - worth seeing. Enjoyed the roast lamb dinner very much, good real ale I sampled the Shephard Neame Spitfire no complaints. Will return.

I have also just returned from The Fox PH with friends and have to say what a wonderful evening we have had.The gathering of the WW 2 Army vehicles along with the "foul mouthed soldiers" (not that we heard any foul language)made an interesting side show, they went along to the village hall for a 40's night. We stayed at the pub and had a superb meal in very pleasant surroundings.Do not be put off.

I have just returned from what was to have been a pleasant meal in cultured surroundings. I shall make a note of this date and before booking a table next year (possibly) I shall enquire if the licentious foul-mouthed soldiery is present, in which case I will seek an alternative venue. We have brought relatives and friends to your establishment in the past and recommended it. This type of clientele will not further your interests and if you have to accept their booking perhaps the public bar will be more to their requirements.
