This inn stands in West Stockwell Street in an area known as the Dutch Quarter. It dates from the 14th - 15th century. Currently it is undergoing extensive renovation by the new owners who are restoring the building to reintroduce it as a great hall. The 14th century interior will have two restored inglenook chimney's complete with original meat hooks. Sadly the pub will only reopen in May 2012, but the venue will be spectacular!!! Rumours say a microbrewery is possible too! So go spread the word!!!

The Stockwell is now shut again pending an extensive refurbishment and apparently will re-open next year as a family friendly pub.

Very clean, very tidy, attentive staff, will be great when they can serve food an altogether vastly improved Pub.
Relaxing area at one end includes Sky to all areas end and darts has been moved to the other end.

Stockwell Arms now reopened. All day every day. serving 3 real ales with the possabilities of a 4th ale. Sky Sports being shown.. food coming very soon.Its had a total refurb inside. Outside in proccess of being done up.Feel free to come in & try us out.
