We visited this pub again to find that Greene King IPA is now £3.20 a pint. It is a nice pub with a friendly welcome, but not nice enough to spend that price on a session pint. It is worth a visit, (unlike the other two nearby,) but I doubt if we will return.

This pub has two areas that retain a pub look and feel. It is a shame there is a plasma screen in both areas, although when we visited only one was on. Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale and Old Speckled Hen on draught, at prices that are a bit high but standard for the area. We will return.

This pub has just recently been taken over and WOW what an improvement. The pub is cleaner and so much more welcoming. The landlord is very friendly. And the drinks are at a reasonable price. A pity about its past reputation but hopefully, due to a willing landlord, this pub can bring itself back up and put the past back where it belongs, in the past.
