Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old England

Looks OK as you approach from the station side, but the interior is disappointingly basic. Limited furniture and decor at the front of the modest 'L'-shaped bar, with a pool table in the side area. One sadly disused handpump, so made do with a John Smith's (£2.50).

Steve C left this review about Old England

The Old England is an L-shaped pub that was by far the busiest in the area when I visited on Saturday afternoon. Its location means that it benefits from a lot of passing trade, but there was a large contingent of locals and a group of guys sitting at the tables outside were certainly having a boisterous afternoon. Around to the left of the bar is a pool table and plasma screen and there are another two screens to the right of the bar, but I spotted no advertisements for Sky Sports. The usual draught products are present and the lone hand pump was drawing Pride on my visit. I went for the Guinness that was well poured and the woman behind the bar was polite enough. A Karaoke night was advertised for two weeks time so live entertainment is not that regular.

There are more comfortable pubs with politer patrons in the area.
