Steve C left this review about The Nags Head

The Nags Head is a small U shaped pub with a dartboard and a bar billiards table to the left and a seating area with bookshelves to the right. A quiz was advertised for alternate Monday nights and Karaoke was advertised for the evening of the recent Saturday I visited. A plasma screen was showing a muted Scottish football match via Sky Sports and the jukebox was playing some random songs in the background. The bar supports three hand pumps that were drawing Courage Best, Hobgoblin and Bombardier and there is a standard draught selection from which I was served a decent Guinness by the amiable governor. At the rear of the pub is a partly covered courtyard where there is more seating and another plasma screen so that the smokers don’t miss any sporting action whilst popping out for a fag.

I liked it in here and will return if I find myself in the area again.

Great pub for karaoke with Badger. Good beer, especially cask ales. Fun evenings and a great outdoor area
