Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hollington Oak

Estate pub in the north-western suburbs of St Leonards with a good community feel, and now part of Greene King's Hive Pubs group. Various seating areas around the central reversed U-shaped bar, with a separate pool room down a couple of steps off to one side and a reasonable beer garden. Just Abbot (£4.20) available from the pair of handpumps, but this was freshly on and in excellent condition.

The Hollington Oak is a large Greene King pub with a big garden out the back that houses some picnic tables and a children’s climbing frame with slide. The island bar supports two hand pumps that were drawing IPA and Ruddles. There was also a standard draught selection from which I had a Guinness that was well served by the barmaid. To the right of the bar is a seating area, but the main body of the pub is to the left of the bar where a plasma screen was showing muted rolling news. I didn’t spot any Sky Sports advertisements, but live sport is advertised for Saturdays. Wednesday is bingo night, Thursday is quiz night and Sunday is poker night. There is a free jukebox on Friday nights and the other days of the weeks have meal deals on offer. A thin extension on the left hand side of the pub houses a pool table and three dartboards. The handful of locals present all seemed harmless enough and families are welcome.

This is a nice enough pub, but I wouldn’t make it my final destination.

The Hollington Oak is a fantastic Pub! The building itself is really old. Kim and Jon, the Landlord and Landlady are incredibly friendly, as are all the staff. The food is great - good, honest Pub Food at reasonable prices. The usual games - Shove, Pool, Darts, Crib Boards. The locals are all really friendly, the atmosphere of the whole place is amazing. Gorgeous huge real fireplace is lit on cold winter nights. Weather permitting you can use the huge garden, with plenty of seating and a good play area for the children. This is a very family friendly pub. You will always be assured of a very warm welcome here, by both the locals, the staff, and the Landlord and Landlady, Kim and Jon. I honestly can't recommend it enough.
