Steve C left this review about The Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters is a large pub where the lounge and public bars have been knocked through into one at some point, but due to the pub layout they are still somewhat separate. The right hand side is the lounge bar where there is lots of conventional seating, some of which is in a raised central section. The left hand side has a pool table, jukebox and plasma screen which was off during my visit on an extremely quiet Monday afternoon. Both sides have a coal effect fire and I would be comfortable having a beer in either. Kids are allowed and there is a designated children’s room on the way to the ladies toilet, but being a thirty five year old man I had no need or excuse to investigate these facilities! I did however walk the length of the bar and noted that Bombardier, Harveys Best and Spitfire were available from the three hand pumps. I went for the Guinness from the standard draught range and it was well served by the bored woman on duty. I didn’t spot any upcoming events advertised on the walls except the Seven Sisters deep sea fishing trip in April, which certainly isn’t my sort of thing. I noted normal opening hours, but be warned that this pub is shut between 15:00 and 19:00 on Sundays.

There is an advertised beer garden which is located a the rear, but the only outside seating I saw were the picnic tables that line the front exterior of the pub and another couple of picnic tables that are located on a grassed area at the other side of the large front car park.

I didn’t mind it in here, but I’m not sure that it is worth the lengthy walk from the town centre.
