After 10 years it doesn't look new anymore and has settled in. Pleasantly quiet on a sunny Saturday lunchtime. Helpful staff, food better than your average pub grub, and a good selection of Harvey's in good condition.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rights of Man

Mostly dark-wood panelled booths in the front and back rooms, but there are also a few alehouse-style tables by the front windows. This is supplemented by a little pavement seating out front and in the rear yard. As a Harvey's establishment, the four of six active handpumps were dispensing Sussex, Old Ale, Wharf IPA and the 5.5% Tom Paine (£4.80, usually a seasonal, but more of a regular here unsurprisingly, given the origins of the venue's name).

Quite small and clearly a 'created' pub, but it is starting to weather in and is developing a reasonable pub feel. The bar is positioned sideways and faces some booths, with small tabled areas around. A bank of 6 pumps served a fair selection of ales from the Harvey's range. Definitely improving and worth a visit.

I pretty much agree with Aqualungs take on this pub, feels a bit like a shop conversion, the makeover is smart and looks ok but lacks an authentic feel,my pint of Harvey's Wild Hop was fine as was my drinking partners Best. It was a pub though that didn't leave me wanting to rush back.

This is Harvey's newest outlet in Lewes having opened at the end of 2012. It's a long and narrow room with wooden panelling and a slightly raised area at the front with some lower tables and chairs. There are some stairs to an upper area that I didn't look into. I suspect it's a shop conversion but don't actually know. It's certainly more of a bar than a pub. I got the impression it's used mainly by the younger people of Lewes.
The bar has six hand pumps with a good Harvey's range on my visit consisting of Mild, Old, Best, South Down Harvest, Olympia and IPA. I rather cautiously went for the Best as I had doubts whether that many beers would all be in good condition in a small place like this. It was in good nick.
There's nothing really wrong with this place but I preferred most other pubs visited in Lewes.

Steve C left this review about Lincolns

Previously known as the Rainbow this bar’s name changed to Lincolns after a refurbishment at the end of 2009. High tables, stools and sofas can be found throughout this thin bar and on the rear wall there are a couple of booths adjacent to a dance floor area. There is an over 21s policy that kicks in at the weekends when there is a DJ and late license until 01:30. Children are permitted during the daytime and the kitchen opens at midday when all main meals that are priced around the £9 mark are BOGOF. The bar supports two hand pumps, but one of these was unused leaving Harveys Best as the solitary ale. I decided to give it a go, but wished I had stuck to the standard draught or Amstel as it tasted of vinegar. My visit was early on a weekday so it was probably the first pint pulled, but that is no excuse for the slop that I received. I would have returned the pint, but a delivery was in progress and the less than welcoming barman went AWOL for a while. Maybe the advertised cocktails which are half price between 17:00 and 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays have more effort put into them.

I didn’t see any TVs and there was certainly no sign of Sky Sports, but there was some low background music playing and I spotted an advertisement for the weekly quiz that takes place on Wednesdays. There is a roof terrace that I did not visit and there seemed to be a smoking area at the rear. Either side of the front entrance there is a café table with some seating for those that like to sit on a busy high street.

I wasn’t very impressed with this place and there are certainly far better places in Lewes to warrant walking past when next in the area.
