Curious pub, presumably aimed at the young. The old bar area at the top is quite pleasant, but the pub has flowed down into a large hall which lacks much atmosphere. The modern high wood tables and stools don't help. Beer tolerable. Many much better pubs nearby.

The Lamb of Lewes feels a little like a scout hut with limited seating and little décor. The larger left hand side of the pub has lots of standing room as the thick wooden tables and stools only stretch down the wall opposite the bar. The smaller bar area to the right has an inglenook, tatty old leather sofa, high tables with chairs and some more thick wooden tables and stools. I didn’t spot any TVs in either bar, but there was some low background music. A limited standard draught selection is available from the bar and two of the three hand pumps were unused leaving Old Trip as the only ale choice. I stuck to the Guinness which was on good form and served by a friendly barmaid.

I thought that this place lacked any atmosphere at 20:00 last Thursday and there are more comfortable pubs in the area.

Bit of a barn of a place with wooden floors, exposed brickworks and minimal décor. Minimal customers as well on my visit, I was the only person in on a Monday lunchtime, I suspect it's more of an evening venue. Two ales on, Olde Trip and Tom Woods.
