Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Juggs

Very attractive old pub (claiming 15th century origins), with a tile-hung upper elevation and a brick patio garden at the front. Quite compact inside, and all seating and dining areas very traditional under the expected low ceilings. Although a Shepherd Neame house, it was a surprise to find Harvey's (£5.40) as the sole cask ale from the three handpumps, but thankfully that was in great shape. However, there were plenty of the owning brewery's beers on the keg taps and in bottled form.

Steve C left this review about The Juggs

The Juggs is located in a 14th century cottage in the small village of Kingston which is found at the foot of the South Downs. This is a Shepherd Neame pub so their keg range is available. I counted three hand pumps that were drawing Shepherd Neame’s own Oast Dodger alongside Harveys Old Ale and Sussex Best. This is primarily a food pub so it wasn’t surprising to see it busy with diners on Sunday afternoon last week. A quick glance at the menu revealed that the meat Sunday roasts are priced at £15, and diners must pre-book as walk-ins were not able to dine, as per the chalkboard outside by the entrance. This pub is closed on Tuesdays and closes early at 21:00 on Sundays.
The interior of the pub consists of a small L-shaped bar area with flagstone floor and real log fire to the right in an inglenook. Behind the inglenook is a seating area with a couple of tables that are faced by the large open kitchen. Behind the bar are a couple more tables and a functional extension that acts as a dining area. Outside there is lots of covered and uncovered seating as well as a car park.
This is a nice country village pub that is worth a look if exploring the local area.
