Steve C left this review about The Foresters Arms
The Foresters Arms was closed at 14:00 on my planned visit on Monday and there were no obvious opening times displayed outside, but I peered through a window and saw that the tables were all neatly laid out with beer mats and it looked quite inviting. There is a car park to the rear and on the left hand side there is a lawn area with a few picnic tables. The food menu was up at the entrance and it was quite pricey at around £10 for a main, but it to be honest this isn’t the cheapest part of the country. I noted the five hand pumps on the bar (there is another area to the left of the pub, but my viewing point didn’t give me any line of sight) and two of these were unused, but Harveys Best was available from two of the others with Old Sussex on the last. Children and dogs are welcome and there is disabled access.
I think that another small detour off the A22 will be on the cards as I would like to check this place out and if it is rubbish the Kings Head is two minutes up the road.
