Steve C left this review about The Bow Street Runner

The Bow Street Runner is located just off the main Western Road, but it feels like a local’s boozer located in the deepest backstreets. This is a single room pub with a bar on the left hand wall where standard draught products are available alongside Harvey’s Best and London Pride. There is a little plasma screen that was switched off and I didn’t spot any Sky Advertisements, but there was some background music from the sixties and seventies playing. The ten or so other customers in during my visit yesterday evening (Tuesday) have done a bit of drinking in their time and there was a stale smell in the air.

The gentleman working behind the bar was very friendly, but I doubt that I’ll be returning here anytime soon as there are better pubs in the area.
