Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Two Sawyers

Fine old village pub, featuring a L-shaped layout with the compact bar and left-hand seating / dining room closest road and a separate restaurant set back by a compact beer garden (with many further wooden benches to the side by the car park). All parts as traditional as you would expect, with various saws as decoration to complement the unusual pub sign. With all four handpumps in use, I found Landlord, Forty Niner and the local Three Acre English Pale (£4.20) in addition to the mandatory Harvey's.

The Two Sawyers has a small bar area with traditional rustic charm at the front. This bar supports a limited standard and premium keg range alongside four handpumps. During a recent Saturday afternoon visit these were drawing Oakham Ales JHB, Directors, Harveys Best and Three Legs Brewing Company’s Pale. I didn’t note the presence of any televisions, but there was some low background music playing. To the right of the bar is a long, very low beamed, dining area with inglenook in the left-hand wall. A few more tables are found by the rear entrance that leads to a decked area that backs onto a sprawling grass covered beer garden. This area includes a covered smoking area that doubles up as a firewood storage area. This is a decent pub that I would gladly return to, but I imagine that on a sunny day there is a bit of a wait at the small bar when the huge beer garden is full.

Multi-roomed free house with low ceilings pretty much throughout. The bar area is compact, but you can be sure of a good buzz here when it gets busy.

Amongst the usual array of lager and stout, there's a tap for Curious Brew, while the 4 handpumps offer a good selection of ales, including Harvey's Sussex (pretty much a given throughout the county) as well as beer from Dark Star & Ringwood.

The pub is popular for its food and given the quality and price, it's not surprising.

The Two Sawyers is a bit far from public transport (though not inaccessibly so), but it's worth the effort if you're in the area.
