Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Anchor Inn

Pleasant village inn, with an unusual veranda frontage. Partly opened-out inside to leave a fairly narrow front bar with small seating / dining areas at each end (one with a very welcome real fire on a frosty winter day). Extending rearwards in one corner to provide further dining rooms, leading in turn to separate rear bar and a beer garden at the back. With all four handpumps in use, I found the regular Harvey's plus 360° Session IPA, Flapjack from Cellar Head and Three Acre Brewery's potent Christmas Old Ale (£5.40).

. Wittenden left this review about The Anchor Inn

A whitewashed old pub with a pegtile roof,on the corner of the road leading to the church.Entered up some steps by way of some sort of verandah.A lively saloon bar, together with a cosy back bar and dining room .Wood stoves, tiled floors, nostalgic Fremlin's memoriabilia. Two stalwarts on the bar-Harvey's Sussex BB and Larkin's Traditional from just up the road in Chiddingstone, together with a guest beer from Cronx. Craft keg from Tonbridge , plus various fizzy keg delights. An even ratio of drinkers and lunchers on our Michealmas Saturday visit.Friendly staff.
