Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Prince Albert

Potentially interesting mock-Tudor pub, but looking so run down (with some of the exterior signage missing) I wasn't convinced that it was actually open. However, it was, although equally sad inside. Only one of the bars, a refurbished 'L'-shaped space with limited furniture, was open; and you get the impression that most of the trade comes from the regular live music events. Long Man Best (£3.80) and London Pride available from two of the four handpumps.

Steve C left this review about The Prince Albert

The Prince Albert is an over 21’s pub that is split into two bars that have no adjoining door so are quite separate. I haven’t been in the left hand bar since my first visit in August 2008 when the area housed plenty of seating, a dartboard and a plasma screen. I have been in the right hand public bar a few times since then as this is the only pub in Old Town that has Sky Sports. This U shaped area has more standing room than seating and there is a pool table and a dartboard.
The bar is stocked with standard draught and supports five hand pumps. Three of these were unused during my last visit leaving Courage Best and Longman Brewery’s Sussex Pride as the ale options. There are a few drinks deals, but I don’t recall any food ever being advertised.
Out the backdoor there are some covered tables that are used by smokers and a thin grass covered stretch where a couple of picnic tables can be found.
Live music is advertised for every Friday and Saturday night when I imagine that there is a late license.

There are better pubs in Old Town, but as I mentioned earlier this is the only one that shows football on Sky Sports so I will undoubtedly find myself back in here again in the near future.
