Steve C left this review about Medusa

Medusa is a thin shop converted bar that has been decked out in a comfortable fashion. There is a table with some seating at the entrance and then the bar on the left hand wall leads to some more seating at the rear. Also at the rear there is a plasma screen that was showing some random muted documentary and a pinball machine. The toilets are located downstairs and are quite small so expect a wait during busy periods.
I found the young lady behind the bar to be very friendly and the handful of student aged regulars all seemed nice enough. Some standard and premium draught products are available from the bar and I was surprised to see a hand pump that was drawing London Pride. I didn’t find this place to be any more expensive than the other pubs and bars of the area and happy hour(s) take place Mondays through to Thursdays from 17:00 until 20:00. The music in the background was an interesting mix of chilled dance and cool folk and every Thursday from 20:00 open mic is held here.

I liked it in here and would have no problem returning on another quiet midweek evening.
