Steve C left this review about Preston Park Tavern

The Preston Park Tavern is an open plan L shaped pub that has embraced the gastro vibe and almost gone all out on the food. I had an inkling of this when I saw the restaurant guide stickers in the door window and wasn’t that surprised when I was greeted near the door and asked if I would be dining. I wasn’t made to feel unwelcome and the half of Landlord I had was on good form. The other ale was Harvey’s Best and there is also a premium lager selection. I didn’t see any food prices as this isn’t the sort of place that leaves menus lying around willy-nilly, but the food looked good and I didn’t see any complaints from the other customers. It was busier than most of the other pubs in this area on Tuesday evening, but I did visit during dinner service. There are no televisions, but some very low background music was playing and live jazz was advertised for Monday week. To the left of the pub there is a patio area with seating.

The staff were friendly, but this is not really my sort of place to be honest.
