Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about J W Lennon’s

Revamped as a rusticated alehouse, albeit in an Irish style, full of basic wooden furniture and with each wall covered with pictures and memorabilia. Small rear terrace for the smokers. Live music advertised. Doom Bar and Long Man APA (£3.20 pint, but £2.00 half) from two of three handpumps mounted on the bar-back.

Steve C left this review about The Leconfield Arms

I visited the Leconfield Arms on Tuesday evening a couple of weeks ago and found a pub with a narrow front bar and also a rear seating area that was closed off. There were about twenty people in the building and both the pool table and dartboard to the right of the bar were being used. This is a student pub and there are NHS and NUS discounts throughout the day. I didn’t spot any televisions, but there was some music playing off a CD player behind the bar. The bar is stocked with standard and premium draught and the two unused hand pumps were being used to prop up a sign that gives the happy hour times as being from midday until 19:00. The toilets are down a flight of stairs to the right of the bar, but be careful as the steps start at the door.

This place isn’t worth going out of the way for, but it is perfectly acceptable for a local.
