Steve C left this review about The Hollingbury

From the front where Mr Mcgraw’s photo was taken this looks like an ordinary pub, but an approach from the back of this pub had me thinking that it had been converted into an office block. I saw the big Charrington sign on the back wall, but this pub is on the first floor of a block and underneath and above there were people at the windows on computers. Thankfully it was open when I visited on Tuesday evening last week and there were a few locals watching the end of a Premier league football match courtesy of Sky Sports. The pub is split in two with a bar to the left that is mainly seating with a plasma screen thrown in and a public bar to the right that houses two dartboards, a pool table and another plasma screen. I found the barmaid to be very friendly, but the only ale available was Harvey’s Best as the second hand pump was unused. There is also a standard draught selection and I saw no food advertised. I did however see the weekly Sunday quiz advertised and the jukebox on the wall that was turned off for the football.

This is a basic pub that I would use if I was very local.
