I like this place, a bit faux Irish but some interesting cr4p around the walls. Music plays a big part in both the decor and conversation Unusual for an Irish pub they have four interesting beers on handpump and two ciders. Friendly service. Background music. Food served. Worth a visit and fairly close to the Hop Poles.

The Fiddlers Elbow is made up of a large central island bar that stretches quite a way back in this long pub. It wasn’t that busy during my recent Tuesday evening visit, but there was a good atmosphere with some fun music playing in the background. Sky Sports is shown and there is a DJ every Saturday night. The quiz is from 20:00 every Tuesday, Sundays from 20:00 is open mic night and Thursday evening is ‘live lounge’ whatever that is. There is a good selection of drinks from the bar as alongside the draught there are two Heritage ciders as well as Dark Star’s Festival, Hammerpot’s Red Hunter, Arundel Castle and Brighton Best.
I found the staff to be very friendly and I would certainly return to this pub.
