Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Milligans

Looks like an Irish bar from the street, and with a name to match, but is more conventional inside than one might expect. Busy with those eating on a Sunday lunchtime, but plenty of seating for other customers at and around the counter or at the pavement tables in the sunshine. Pleased to find real ale too, with Doom Bar and Brains SA (£3.80) available from two of the four handpumps.

A comfortable bar for serious thinkers and serious drinkers. Nice real ales, good quiz night, amiable hosts and good grub.
One of the best pubs in Bexhill...

With the name Milligans I was expecting this to be an Irish bar but the only whiff I got from the Emerald Isle was the Guinness. This is in fact a ‘lounge’ bar with seating to the right of the entrance and a small bar to the left. Some standard draught products are available and during my recent Friday evening visit two of the three hand pumps were drawing Youngs Gold and Harveys Best with the third being unused. Food is available from midday until 15:00 and also 19:00 until 21:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Roasts are available for £7 on Sundays, but most of the other mains that I saw were over the £10 mark. Sky Sports is shown and there is a plasma screen at the end of the bar and another in a small seating area at the rear, but they are easily escapable for those not interested. There was some back music playing, but it was unobtrusive.

This is a place that I am more likely to be seen in with the misses than the mates.

Also, there is an attached cellar bar that used but I’m not sure if it is used to host events anymore.
