Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Railway

As handy for the station as the name would suggest, but this one actually gives the impression of being a real community local rather than serving a more transient clientele. Building work was also going on during my visit, so it's good to see some further investment going on. The interior comprises two separate bars, with the larger lounge also having an offshoot dining area. Busy late on a Saturday afternoon with a mix of families eating out and those looking for a drink. Just Harvey's (natch) from a pair handpumps as far as I could see.

Steve C left this review about The Senlac

I called into the Senlac at around 21:00 on a recent Tuesday evening and found myself to be the only customer. As I walked in the woman manning the pumps put her book down so that she could politely serve me. The bar was stocked with standard draught products and three hand pumps were supported. The first of these was unused leaving Young’s Hummingbird and Harvey’s Best as the cask ale options. The kitchen was closed during my visit so I didn’t see any menus, but I did note the food is available Thursday to Saturday 17:30 until 21:00 and from midday until 16:00 on Sundays.

In the bar area is a plasma screen which was switched off and a jukebox. In the right hand bar area is a pool table and a dartboard. A sign on the wall advertised live music for the upcoming Friday night and free Wi-Fi is available. On the way to the toilets to the left of the bar I spotted a bowling green. Out the front between the pub and a car park are some picnic tables and a covered smoking area.

I found this place to be basic with a slightly grubby feel, but the welcome was friendly. This place is OK for a pint if waiting for a train, but I’m not sure I would visit for any other reason.
