Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Stonehouse The Kings Arms

Solid brick building, now a Stonehouse 'Pizza & Carvery' outlet. Mostly opened out at some stage, and understandably most of the tables are set aside for those dining. However, there is also a small general seating area at one end of the bar, where a pool table can also be found. If I had put money on one pub on my walk not serving Harvey's, this one would have been it. However, guess the solitary real available from the three handpumps: of course, a reasonable pint of the inevitable at £3.75 - silly me!

Steve C left this review about The Kings Arms

The Kings Head is a Stonehouse Carvery pub so it wasn’t surprising to find it busy with diners during a recent Saturday afternoon visit. The vast interior consists of a large restaurant area to the left and an L shaped bar to the right. To the left of the bar is a servery where people were queuing with empty plates ready to stock up on roast dinners. I didn’t look at a menu, but I imagine the prices are very reasonable. Available from the bar was a standard keg range and Harveys best on cask. Two other hand pumps were unused. A pool table is found to the right of the entrance and plasma screens are dotted around bar area. These were all off during my visit and I didn’t spot any live sports advertisements. There is parking to the right and at the rear of the pub. To the left is a beer garden that is accessed through the dining area.
This is very much a food led family pub, as the toy grab machine by the entrance suggests. This is not a place I would seek out again, but it serves a purpose.
