Old Blue left this review about The Kings Arms

A decent sized village pub built from Portland stone, with a traditional interior and a lovely garden which has a stream running through it. Amongst the drinks offerings, four hand pumps offered Greene King IPA and Doombar; Ringwood Best had just finished on the third, and the fourth had a reversed Butcombe Mendip Spring clip on it. The friendly barman/landlord wasn’t quite sure whether the Mendip Spring was ready yet, but pulled it through for us and it was delicious. I gather the food is very good here, and the menu looked interesting, though we didn’t get a chance to eat here. This pub had a really solid feel to it – taking trouble to get everything right – I’d very happily drop in again for a drink or to try the food.
