As noted below this Hop Back tied house is a basic drinker's pub and was quiet on my Saturday late afternoon visit despite the Six Nations Rugby being on in the adjacent area.
The bar only had two of their beers on from the four hand pumps, Crop Circle and Summer Lightning. I went for the Summer Lightning (£3.20).
I was a bit disappointed with this one as I was expecting more from a Hop Back pub.

A solid, down to earth boozer with a friendly welcome tied to Hop Back Brewery with 4 handpumps but just two options on a Thursday lunchtime visit in Crop Circle (good nick) and Summer Lightening.A selection of rolls for £1 maintained the traditional local vibe, the strong smell of disinfectant on entering was a little unfortunate but wouldn't put me off a revisit.Given decent real ale, this should be on any crawl itinerary.

A basic drinkers' pub on the end of a Georgian terrace, currently operated by Hopback. There are 2 bars downstairs, and apparently there are rooms to let upstairs. A former skittle alley is now used as a function room. Recent refurbishment as removed unnecessary clutter, and the front bar is now a wood-floored drinking area, while the families' room at the back is more of a saloon. The bar had 4 pumps on it, but there were only 2 ales on draft, plus a selection of bottles. The barmaid was friendly and chatty, though there weren't many other customers in during our visit. The ales were Summer Lighting and Crop Circle. The Crop Circle was in excellent condition. A very valuable addition to a town crawl.

As stated in the last review, very handy for the station. This is a small back street pub which is a true 'locals' pub. Has a pool table and dart board and had three Hop Back beers on when I visited. Tried the Summer Lightning (one of my favourites) but have to admit it was only of average quality. There are another four pubs in Park Street, all very close to each other, so an excellent place for a pub crawl.
