This pub is a great improvement upon it's previous condition , it is somewhere that you feel like you might be valued as a customer . Perceptions don't last long though when you try to get served. There is a pillar that divides the bar into two sections and it's easy for the staff to not notice you for quite a while before getting served. I have no idea about the quality of the food but whilst the choice is limited , the prices are very fair . I would like to comment on the food but despite given a menu plus the daily special menu at 20.40 and trying to order at 20.45 I was told that the kitchen closes at 20.30. Disappointing. Access is very good for all members of the community as there are no steps in sight and ample parking. Beer prices are high for the area (30p) above the nearest alternative , The Swan. The premium ale is directors and it is kept well at a good temp . Wine choices are extensive and prices appropriate. Car parking is visible from the pub but security is not much of an issue. Sadly no wifi and the management
Say they have no intentions of installing it .
