Blackthorn _ left this review about New Bristol Brewery Tap Room

One of many brewery taps that seems to be springing up around this part of town, this is smaller than most but nonetheless manages to squeeze in a reasonable amount of both inside and outside seating.

Décor wise it’s inevitably fairly industrial with rows of gleaming brewing vessels and pallets of ingredients stacked up at the rear of the premises, but they have made a bit of effort to soften things a bit with an attractive and rustic varnished wooden bar top for example, although the corrugated iron that clad the front of the bar perhaps jarred with this somewhat. The flooring was some type of concrete screed, with basic wooden tables and benches off to the left as well as an old barrel or two for vertical drinking. Pine wood cladding had been affixed to sections of the wall and the ceiling and there was an old black leather sofa in one corner along with a small table made from an old hand cart.

Despite three hand pumps on the bar, none of these were in use unfortunately, leaving only keg options available. These were all their own as might be expected and on this occasion consisted of Mango & Lime Lassi Gose, The Boogie Below, Kennedy Lives, In My Soft Spot, Summacrush and Bristol Kölsch. The solitary cider was Crafty Nectar’s Trade No. 7 which was a new one on me but went down very well.
