Brainy Pool left this review about The Miners Peg

A corporate Marstons restaurant in downtown Skelmersdale, it’s pretty much your only option in the immediate vicinity. A huge modern barn like place with a carvery, screaming kids etc. There were two ales on the bar, Wainwrights and Pedigree, almost certainly the only cask ale you will find around Skem these days. It’s not really a pub but with the lack of alternatives there were quite a few regular looking punters in here. It’s also very handy for ‘the Asder’ as locals call it.
