Rex Rattus left this review about Curious Brewery

I didn't realise that there was a tasting room on the ground floor - I saw a sign at the bottom of the stairs pointing up to the bar and restaurant on the first floor, and made straight for it. There's also a lift up to the first floor. The bar & restaurant is essentially a large drinking/dining barn, with wide backless wooden benches in place of chairs along with long communal drinking tables. The place has all the character of a school canteen. There's a ledge near the bar, and another along by the window, each with tall stools and I found these to be the best seating option as I was only having a swift half having a bit of time to kill at Ashford Station. But it is convenient for Ashford station, the nearest exit being at the "International" end of the station.

The best bet to drink was the draught IPA (£3 a half), as the stout and porter weren't on. There's no real ale of course. Food seemed to be the main player, but it's not cheap - the fish and chips is £13 and the burger and chips is £13.50.

The only reason I would return to this bar is if I again had time to kill at Ashford, but didn't have time to walk into town.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Curious Brewery

This brand-new brewery is much larger than I was expecting, and the staff in the ground-floor taproom seem really pleased about the way the first six days have gone. There is also an upstairs bar and restaurant signposted on the station side of the building, and a front patio that catches the sun (but the traffic noise too...). No real ale is made here, and it was difficult to tell what all the keg taps were offering, but my pint of Curious Porter (£5.50) was a decent (if pricey) drink.
