Real Ale Revolution One occupies a large double unit on a small shopping parade. At the time of my visit a few weeks ago there were six hand pulls, two of which were off and one was offering cider. The keg offering consists of "mainstream craft" including Beavertown and Camden beers, plus something by Salt that looked a little more interesting. There are also various lagers and keg ciders in addition to the cask cider.

There is a mix of high and low tables with mainly Chesterfield style seating. I spotted three TV screens, two of which were off and the other was showing sports news, but I daresay all come into use to screen live sports when the place is busy. Looks like there may be a jukebox machine in the corner, but I couldn't be 100% sure. There also appeared to be a food menu stuck to the wall, which included tapas items.

There is certainly plenty of choice, the place is nicely done out and is clean and smart. Service was friendly. Well worth a look.

A shop conversion on the Winstanley shopping precinct. Possibly the only decent ale outlet for a few miles, so it is welcome in that sense. It's a shrine for real ale and cider drinkers but certainly not a pub or 'micropub', it's very much done out like a dark, trendy modern bar inside including TVs. Despite the beer it's not somewhere i'll be in any rush to return to but others may like it (and do, judging by its popularity so far).
