This micro bar/off licence was formally a Nat West Bank hence the strong room and vault in the back of the premises, now used to store customers opened bottles of spirits for a revisit.
The bar area in the front room had a black slate counter and black painted bar front with pine trim. There were 3 chrome polished handpumps and 8 keg taps along the back bar fixed to a copper plate.
The left hand side housed a bottle chiller, filled with an array of beers. In the far right hand side there was shelving with various bottles of wines, gins and whiskies for purchase.
Only three or four tables along the front with stainless steel containers in the centre for chilling bottles. The rear of the bar had a lot more seating and had a interesting photo of the nearby Jodrell Bank Telescope.
Three ales on handpump, Wincle Lord Lucan, Beartown Bitter and Ossett White Rat. I went for the Lord Lucan English IPA and Beartown Bitter, both of which were in excellent condition.

Good Beer Guide 2019 Entry. More to this place than meets the eye. At first, you think its a micro bar/offlicence. A front room with two tables, plenty of fridges and racking selling spirits. A bar with 8 keg and four cask that are not gravity fed from barrels. Unusually for a micro - music :-)

But there's also a couple of back rooms on the way to the vaults (where the personal spirits are kept) that contain plenty of pubby furniture, providing a much better experience.

One of the better micros visited.
