A reasonable alternative to the 'Spoons although expect to pay more for a pint. The Meriden is all pine floors and furniture, light and airy for an airport, and serves what looks to be a decent menu of food.
Ales always on are Purity Pure Gold, Speckled and Abbot along with one guest, Pedigree on our visit. A good selection for an airport bar and there's also a smokers balcony. One of the rare places for a puff in the airport.
I'd stop by if passing.
