Alan Winfield left this review about Cremorne Hotel

The Cremorne was a large stand alone pub that was fairly close to the river Trent, this was one of a handfull of proper old pubs that survived the meadows slum clearences during the mid 70s.
Once inside the pub had a few diffrent rooms with a smart lounge and a decent bar.
This pub used to be an Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar on the few occasions that i have been in this pub i have had the Home bitter which was a very nice drink the other beer was Home mild.
Sadly this pub has closed down and the site has been redeveloped, what a waste of a decent pub.
