What a disappointment this place was. Made the trip on a Sunday after seeing in the local CAMRA mag that they had a 25% discount. I found a largely uninterested pub with four hand pumps but only one in use; and that was serving an Adnams beer. Strange clientele, bit like an estate pub. The 'free ' WiFi that you have to provide email address didnt work. Only plus points, it's right by the station and they honoured the 25% discount although it wasn't advertised or offered. I have yet to explore the couple of pubs nearby but based on this I suggest you get off at the next stop Romiley.
