Decent enough boozer on the edge of Ham Common, the interior is L shaped with a fine brick fireplace to the left, traditional furniture throughout and much wood panelling. The bar mirrors the internal shape and has 6 handpumps offering on my visit Adnams Broadside,CW Youngs Bitter,Fullers London Pride and Southern Star (ok condition) with two pumps unused.Food looks firmly pub grub, although there are daily specials on a board. There is a very decent walled beer garden at the rear and a few benches by the entrance giving pleasant views over the common.
Solid pub, proper atmosphere but a rather mundane ale selection lessens the appeal of a revisit.

A traditional pub, one room with a central bar, carpeted and wallpapered walls, plenty of seating with food in mind. Six hand pumps with a fairly basic selection of four on,Robinsons Trooper, London Pride, Adnams Broadside and Youngs bitter, the Youngs beer was served in very good condition and was the best I've tasted it in a long while.
A nice enough pub for a passing pint but no more than that.
