Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bird in Bush

Attractive old inn in a prominent position at one corner of Elsdon's magnificent village green. However, the rectangular and partially refurbished bar has surprisingly plain furniture and light decor. Pool area at one end and a separate restaurant at the other. Darts. Basic menu. Accommodation. Unfortunately, the High House Farm Nel's Bush (£2.50) was off when we visited, but it was still worth stopping off at this fine spot. (NB - Review dates from August 2012.)
