This charming pub is situated just off the A5085 between Knutsford and Wilmslow and had a refurbishment a few years ago and is now a busy pub offering a warm and friendly welcome.The pub has traditional interior furnishings,stone floor,3 open fires,low ceilings and I think original beams in the centre of the building.There was 7 interesting cask beers on show and beyond the bar a Whiskey snug where during the week they have Whiskey tasting nights from around 80 options.
This one is certainly dog friendly as they have there own garden plus biscuits on the bar and even a doggy beer called Lucky Dog (No alcohol but plenty of beef extract and Vitamin B)
This one made me laugh,they have an elitist club for Porsche owners called the 3P Club (Pub,Porsche,Pint).Although tempted to join had to decline there offer as there gatherings clashed with my Lamborghini meetings at the Last Orders. Definitely worth a visit.

I went to the Bulls Head in Mobberley and could not believe the transformation from being a tired, boring, badly run pub to a true ‘little gem’ of a pub!! It was heaving with people and must be one of the biggest business turnarounds I have seen!! The atmosphere was wonderful, the food and service great and I could bring my pet dog in to their ‘whisky snug’…..now I have an excuse to have a pint of local ale!!!
