Convenient for the Town Quay, The Swan and Harlequin is a pub with a troubled past which it has now put behind it to become a highly commendable business which does B&B, restaurant-style meals and real ales. It's in a former tobacco merchant's house, an interesting Georgian building with has been changed little in the last couple of Centuries. There are two front bars, a large outside seating area, and there is a selection of ales in casks which can be brought straight up from the cellar. There were 5 ales on when we visited, but they had run out of cider. Food was good enough, and the pint of Hophead Dark Star I had was in excellent condition. Well worth a visit, especially if coming into town by boat as it's just a few yards from the moorings. Definitely include in a crawl as it makes (as JAQPTIO indicates below) a nice change from S&N beers.

A bit of a rarity, being one of the few non-Shepherd Neame pubs in Faversham (despite being almost next to the brewery). No sign of real ale in the small front bar inside the main door, but handpumps for Master Brew and Directors can be found in the larger side room. Better still, it tuned that Tribute was also available direct from barrel in cellar (£3.00, in fine form, and served in the right glass). Sports TV. Patio seating out front. Rear courtyard under a very large umbrella. Gives the impression of being a bit of a locals pub, but the barmaid was friendly enough.
