This is now called McCooleys. It has 2 entrances, one on Temple Court and the other on Stanley St. Its the 2nd of this chains pubs in Liverpool. This is a massive place on 4 floors. There is a bar on each level. The lower ground floor houses 6 pool tables, the ground floor and the upper floors are similar in style (Irish themed). There are approximately 4,538 TVs dotted around plus large screens. No real ale so its lager-a-likes on draught. If you like your Irish bars you're in. Its probably noisy as hell Friday/Saturday nights. What used to be Smokie Mo's (Temple Court) and Cafe Sport England (Stanley St) is now knocked through to make this giant pub.

enjoyed the time we spent in the pub friendly bar staff, great musicand craic until the bouncers turn up at the door.we were over for a football match and to enjoy the nightlife and atmosphere but they ruined our weekend by refusing my mate re-entry after going outside for a ciggy, just he did not where to stand, basically they told he was on the wrong side of the front door.we got the impression that the two bouncers involved were anti irish the they spoke to us.let me add it was only two of them the rest of the bouncers were gentlemen, the two know who they are i hope they get a chance to view this review.
