The Cobbler is a smart looking estate pub that is on the main road to the east of the town centre.
Once inside this pub is larger than it looks with lots of different drinking areas on different levels, once through the main entrance the bar faces, the seating in the bar area is leather bench seating and normal tables and chairs, there is a larger area down a few steps to the right, the tables and chairs in this area are set for diners but drinkers can drink here, there is a smaller room down more steps to the rear right and one more room up a few steps to the left which is classed as an adult dining area.
No real ales on the bar,so it was a drink of keg Black Sheep bitter which was drinkable, the other keg bitter John Smiths Extra Cold Crap.
This is a smart and comfortable pub, just a shame there were no real ales on.

Recently re-opened, the atmosphere is lovely, seating outside, which is very popular, a very nice drinking area inside which leads to the dining area which serves fantastic home cooked food, the sunday lunch is a carvery, very, very popular, throughout the week again they have a carvery and also you can order from the menu, everything is perfection. The prices are good
