Well of the beaten track but quite a surprise.

Next to the canal on a country road in the middle of nowhere.

Single roomed. Lunch time and packed out with pensioners - and they always no where the bargains are to be had.

Three real ales on - Enville, HPA and one other. From the branded glassware, it would appear that Three Tuns is the elusive fourth pump turned backwards.

The HPA was as good as I have had it anywhere and my local is a Wye Valley House.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Navigation Inn

A detached elongated cottage-styled pub in cream painted brick, with patio area and beer garden adjacent to the canal.

The interior is a single open plan room around the central serving bar, but has a couple of areas. There are two doors, but only one room showing it has been knocked through at some stage. The decor is white and some wood panel, with a white and beam ceiling and there are a couple of brick and stone fireplaces, which had nice fires blazing. Half of the pub is a lounge, with sofas and the other half is set-up with tables for dining. We didn't eat, but the prices seemed reasonable. There are a few TVs, which had the footy on and there is a dart board. The walls have prints on them and there is some brass ephemera and toby jugs dotted about. The service was functional and the clientele a mix of locals and walkers, with plenty of dogs! There was no music.

Beer; tap stuff with Enville Ale, Spekky Hen and a decent Enville Ginger on handpull.

A nice enough country pub, despite the sofas, with a good beer selection, but for some reason i didn't feel comfortable here.
