A surprisingly friendly pub. It doesn't look much and doesn't have the greatest beers going but it was enjoyable on this Saturday afternoon visit. A single room with the beams decorated with beer mats and pump clips. Whether they've had the ales displayed is a moot point. Either way there are 6 handpumps with 4 ales on today, Banks Amber and Mild plus Boondoggle and Brakespeare Oxford Gold on. A bonus was that amidst the 80s music coming from the jukie the were 2 Half Man Half Biscuit songs on. A pleasant surprise.

A cream rendered terraced Marston's pub, with white paintwork

The interior was a small open plan room with the bar to the left when entering the pub through the central door. The decor was yellow and green with some wood panel and exposed brickwork. There was red and green perimeter seating a Victorian grate and some Victorian furnishings. There were a number of old photos on the walls of Dudley. There was Sky TV, no music. The service was functional and the clientele a few locals.

Beer; tap stuff with Banks's Bitter and a poor Banks's MILD on handpull

a basic place, which would have been ok had the beer been drinkable.
